急危重症护理学是护理学的重要组成部分本课程是研究各类急性病、急性创伤、慢性病急性发作等危重症患者抢救护理的临床护理学课程。通过组织本课程的教学实施，使学生在学习原有基础理论、基础护理操作和临床护理学科的基础上，初步养成系统的急救思维和急救意识，掌握常用急救技术，熟悉或了解各种常见急危重症病人的病情观察、救治原则及护理重点，为临床护理工作奠定良好基础。

Emergency and Critical Care Nursing is an important component of Nursing Science. The course focuses on intensive care of the patient suffering from acute disease, acute trauma or chronic disease at acute attack stage．It aims at introducing students to develop an awareness of a variety of clinical emergency conditions, insightful reasoning and decision making, undertake a systematic approach to assess, treat and care critically sick patients, and use common knowledge and skills required in the treatment and service of critically sick patients and lay solid foundations for basic theories and skills of clinical nursing in relevant works．
