The course is for students of MBBS to learn basic knowledges of medical cell biology. The contents include 3 parts: part 1, introductions to cell biology and the research techniques, cell concept and molecular basis; part 2, cell structure and function, such as cell membrane and transmembrane transportation, endomembrane system and vesicle transport, mitochondria and energy conversion, cytoskeleton and cell motility, nucleus, cell adhesion and cell junctions, etc.; and part 3, cellular activity and life, such as cell signaling transduction, cell division and cell cyle, cell differentiation, cell senescence and cell death.
