Biosafety is focused on preventing, minimizing and eliminating risks associated with research, production, technology development and services related to pathogens, radioactive materials, genetically modified organisms with the aims of protecting human and animal health, and environmental preservation.  The course is designed to introduce the basic concepts, major types, biological effects, and managing regulations for bio-hazardous agents.
