Surgeryis a major branch of clinical medicine with strong practicability. The course offers the knowledge that is related to the etiology, pathology, diagnosis, prevention and therapy of diseases including general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, urology, and orthopedics etc. The students are required to master the diagnostic and therapeutic methods of common surgical illness. They are supposed to focus on the study of basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills. Operation and peri-operation therapy are the two keystones of the course.
