本课程《英语国家概况》（2026年春季学期）旨在帮助英语专业本科学生系统了解主要英语国家的历史发展、社会文化与制度结构，拓展语言文化知识，培养跨文化意识与综合语言运用能力。课程围绕英国、爱尔兰、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚与新西兰等国家展开，内容涵盖地理、历史、政治、经济、教育、文学与社会文化等方面，注重知识理解与口头表达能力的结合。具体安排如下：

考核方式：
平时成绩包括三部分：出勤 5%，随堂测试 25%，以及个人展示 20%（每次课安排3–4人，每人进行2–3分钟主题展示）。
期末考试为机考。
课程总成绩计算公式如下：
课程总成绩 = 平时成绩 × 50% + 期末机考成绩 × 50%
