It is no exaggeration to say, there are many differnt prejudices In daily life. In my filed, gender discrimination is the most common. Have you awaked that most of grandparents have a preference for boys? Do you think so?
My grandmother wants to have a boy rather than a girl. In the countryside, each family prefer boys than girls. This is tradition which is not easily to change by us......
Having such a beautiful, bright and elegant granddaughter, your grandparents must be proud of you and love you so much. Because of the ignorant traditional concept, they may have a preference for boy, but I think they must be aware that you are the precious gift of god and they absolutely regard you as a pearl in the palm!
